We had Crystal V7, with reports running nicely from VB6 and Crystal PE API calls.
Today we installed version 8.5 and reports that have been working for months , including yesterday, no longer worked.

"Invalid Procedure or Argument" on API call
PEAddParameterCurrentValue.

Have rung Seagate Support and they have no definite answer
on this.

Version was 8.5 developer installed over V7.

Yet another reason to look at Active Reports perhaps ?

But, hey, this is serious, we upgraded to 8.5 as 7 not supported on Windows 2000 platform.

So while Seagate/CrystalDecisions are looking maybe some
guru out there knows already ??

Solved with code sample from Seagate. Version 8.5 needs
null terminator Chr$(0) on string passed into
PEAddParameterCurentValue.
Version 7 doesn't

Have the points as you were only respondent and its Friday !!!
