Can somebody tell me if there's a readymade ( portable on all linuxes if possible ) tool which mimics ndd like behaviour ?<br />

I specifically want to set the Timeout params for a socket which is closed, reduce the TIME_WAIT , FIN_WAIT1 ,CLOSE_WAIT &amp;&nbsp;FIN_WAIT2 etc...<br />

ndd ,FYI is used to tune network.<br />

Run 'ndd -h supported' on HP-UX or 'man ndd' under Solaris<br />
<br />
need this for Redhat.<br />
