16bit Windows Subsystem error...please help

Hi,

I have been having the following error in win2000pro whenever I do something new in the computer that
hasn't been done before like install a new piece of software:

The error reports:

SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/VirtualDeviceDrivers. VDD. Vertual Device Driver format in the registry
is invalid. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

and it has two buttons 'Close' and 'Ignore', so far I have been able to continue on with the application
if I choose 'Ignore', but how can I stop this? Please help

I got the follwing information from the event log:

Source: Application Popup
Category: None
Type: Information
Event ID: 26

Application popup: 16 bit Windows Subsystem

Thanks,
Jay
