Gauge Components
hi experts,
I need Some gauge Components ( Analog with pointer or Digital with 7-seg ). for example for use as Pressure gauge or humidity gauge and ...( thay are only for monitoring )
Do you Know any Site with Free ActiveX or Delphi Component for this application. There Is some OPCs ( OLE For process control ) for it. but I didnt find any Free Version.

I see http://www.opc.dial.pipex.com/delphi.shtml.
I never used OPCs but I think I can not find my need in an OPC site.becouse I see almost every OLEs in that site are complex components not for example a gauge.
I will be pleased to know more about you.have you ever use OPCs? are you a control Eng(or student of control Eng.?

Yes, I'm a controls eng. and sys programmer.
I've spent the last 5 years in the MES area.
I've used OPC for reading and writing to PLC, SCADA system
I use AB PLC mostly but I talk through RSLinx OPC server
which you can use with many PLC's.
Also I used OPC to create a Client/Server to work with DeltaV system, etc..
Delphi is a great tool when working with OPC & DTL.
because I placed most of the OPC stuff in NT server apps.

I am 22 & a senior student of Electrical Control Eng.I finished my courses nearly. now I am working on my BS project:design a pc-based DCS for a textile factory. now i am study on Teoritical issues and sys knowlagement.after it i will sturt to build a package with Delphi.i did some related educational projects in my courses ( Automation , Industrial Control ).
any way. I will be pleased if i could ask my questions in my project from you at the future.
