I can delete a file For Sharing Violation????

How can i delete file when i have a error. "Cannot delete Lib:  There has been a sharing violation.  The source or desttination file may use."
I m owner this file.  
Under Nt i went in winfile but under 2000 i don't find it.

What, specifically is the file you are trying to delete?  Depending on what the file is, it may very well be in use by the system, or a service running on the system.

Cybertoddicus is right it probably is in use by something.  A couple of things you might try all of these have worked for me when I've had the same prob.
1)Boot into safe mode and try.
2)Kill all services that you don't need and try.
3)Logon as seperate user and try

Could you provide more info on the file you are trying to delete (i.e. the name of the file, what software it belongs to)?
