Hello,
I"m running into a slight problem with RMI.  My rmi server creates an rmiregistry on port 1099 then tries to register one object within that registry. The rmiregistry is created fine, but once rebind is called, it throws an exception :

java.security.Access control exception:access denied
java .net.socket permission 127.0.0.1:1099 connect ,resolve.
any body can help me?

Hi,

add the following code in the java.policy file

grant {
    permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:1024-65535",
        "connect,accept";
    permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:80", "connect";
};
