Take a look at:

BTW, you would probably get a better response in the VB forum.

Hi,
Y try using following way:
1. Create a service by Net8 Configuration Assistant utility to connect to database.
2. Then, Y can insert some snippet to create a database object:
 Set db = New Connection
 db.CursorLocation = adUseClient
 db.Open "Provider=MSDAORA.1;Password=" & Password & ";User ID=" & Username & ";Data Source=" & Service_name & ";Persist Security Info=True"
Where db is a variable declared in public for the project scope.
3. For each connection what y want to create to connect to oracle database can be used following:
for a selection query:
 Set rs = New Recordset
 rs.Open "Select * from Schema.TableName conditions", db
for a insert/update/delete query:
 db.Execute "Insert into Schema.TableName values(...)"
or
 db.Execute "Update Schema.TableName Set FieldName=Value, .."
or
db.Execute "Delete from Schema.TableName where conditions"
and so on.
Also, y can operate data in the database by some other ways. But all cases, y have to create above database object(db).

I hope it will help y.
thank for ragards,
huuquoc
