SSI <!--#EXEC CGI="header.cgi?query --> problem

I have a index.html file which contain a SSI call to a header cgi file. Does anyone know if my index.html contain some query can the query be pass to the header cgi file in the SSI call.

Meaning if I call the index.html file from the browser with the following query:

http://localhost/test/index.html?category=school&subject=math

can the query be pass to the SSI like this

<!--#EXEC CGI="header.cgi?category=school&subject=math -->

ghgan,

"..Meaning if I call the index.html file from the browser with the following query:.."

Yes. that can be done. For this you have to rename your index.html file as index.shtml

here is a sample index.shtml file

<!--#EXEC CGI="header.cgi?<!--#echo var="QUERY_STRING_UNESCAPED"-->-->

Hope that helps.
