We work with a Precision 420 with dual 1gig intel p3 processors and every once in a while when logging into a system or running various tasks unattended. I have a feeling the problem is with the automatic power management - which is turned off in windows and is not accessable in the pheniox bios. Therefore, I have a question about the drivers for the processor:<br />
1. what is the difference between ACPI and MPC multiprocessor PC drivers? <br />
2. when I'm logged in as admin, only one driver shows up in device manager but as a user, multiple drivers show. <br />
3. any further ideas?
