ADSL Vs ISDN

We currently use a permanent modem connection. This is proving unsatisfactory and we must increase our bandwidth. ADSL is a new technology here and I am receiving conflicting opinions on whether ISDN or ASDL is the way to go (are there otjher cost effective options?). We currently download around 3GB per month.

There are probably not any other cost effective solutions.  Frame Relay is more reliable, but usually much more expensive.  ISDN is a fairly reliable technology, but it limits you to 128K.  ADSL is usually faster, anywhere from 256 to 7 MB, but it is not symmetrical and downloads faster than it uploads.  It can be less reliable.

Maybe this site is worse than first thought.  Moondancer has been gone almost 2 months.
