Hi,

I am currently experience a problem in an application which returns the above error message. I am connecting to a Jet 4.0 Access database using ADO. I have installed MDAC 2.61 and have all the latest required service packs. My application receives information from the network and does a lookup in a database.

When the function is executed, it creates new instances of a command object and recordset object. The command object then accesses the procedures collection of a catalogue to get to a precreated querydef. The recordset is then set to the result of the command object.

At the end of the function, I close the recordset and set both the command object and the recordset to nothing explicitly.

Has anybody else experienced this problem and do you know the solution?

Because you are using Access and ADO 2.6, have you installed the JetPackn 4.0? http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm#Jet4SP3info

What is the error number?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.
