http or ftp upload

I need to be able to update my website through my office, which has a firewall and does not allow ftp - only port 80 (http) is open.  I know that IBM's TopPage uses FTP to upload files to the server.  Does Microsoft FrontPage publish/upload using ftp or http protocol?  If it can upload via http, what requirements are needed on the server side?  Thanks in advance.

FrontPage uses http protocol.  Your server must have FrontPage Extensions installed.

Let me know if you require any further information.

So if I have my web-site hosted by a web-hosting company such as Verio or ValueWeb, I would have to check to make sure that they have FrontPage Extensions installed before I can publish using FrontPage?  Thanks in advance.

That is correct.

Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.
