I hope you mean a virus PROTECTION program, not a virus!  (I would hope there wouldn't be too many experts that would help you with the latter!)

Writing virii isn't always a negative thing, but apparently, as persistent as this individual is implies, rather invokes suspicion. I won't answer his question in any way aside from saying that searching Google is much more effective than asking someone on an IT website. I came across this page searching for methods of writing anti-virus programs (I'm specifically interested in "heuristics"). Maybe we can continue this thread discussing that, or maybe it would be better to close it altogether :-).
