Hi
just starting out with c and have a basic question:

I am trying to prompt user for 10 numbers and take this input and load into an array. Can I do this with scanf and an expression ?

int num[];

printf "enter 10 numbers: ";
/* for statment here */
        scanf("%d", &num);

Thanks

Yes, to be precise, it would look more like:

int i,num[10];

printf("Enter 10 numbers:\n");
for(i=0; i<10; ++i)scanf("%d",&num[i]);

Note that you will have to have the subscript on num in the scanf statement. You should pass the address of ("&") the variable you want filled (num[i]).
