Housenet,
You proposed the solution without the steps required to perform the task.  If you would have said..."Disable the messenger service, and here is how to do it......"  Then that would be a better comment.  Your answer was adaquate, but not complete.  You should have followed up with additional information to help me try your proposed answer.

Perhaps you felt I should have known how to disable the messenger service already.  But don't assume such things, we all have a certain level of ignorance regarding new Operating Systems, and Win2K is new to me.

In the end, you had the good idea, and I don't mean to sound ungrateful...that is why I didn't have any problem throwing extra points your way.  So, once again, thank you for the help.
