Transport failure

I have 3 PC's in my office all running win98SE and office 2K, I recentlypurchase a 3com hub kit with network cards installed everything and it has been working fine until now. What i use this for most is for all three pc's can use the same database and some file sharing. I have devoloped a problem on one pc, when i sart the system i get the following warning  " Computer Transport Failure. The Arcadia backup agent is unable to run because a required component (WIndows Sockets)is not running, Make sure that you have the IPX/SPX compatable protocol or the TCP/IP protocol installd in the network control panel" Once i saw this warning on my pc i tried to access the database or files on another pc and it takes a very very long to to open anything i choose. When i check the network control panel it seems that everything is installed correctly. PLease Help (PS i am not familiar with networking so please be gentle :o))

Hey There!

Windows Solution>
Uninstall and Install the Network card (remember to delete every network adapter and protocol on Network Properties) ...   works most of times, and you don't need to get inside windows configurations or something...

I don't like this kind of solutions, but the truth is that they're easier and faster...

hope this helps...
