At startup of win2k server I'm getting the error message: "At least one service or driver failed during
system startup" but there is no error message in any of the three categories of Event Viewer. Is there
an alternative for me to identify what went wrong and remove it?
I rated this question 300 points in the "Operating Systems" topic area. The title is: "Message error but no error in the event viewer".
Of course you'll get 300 points answering there.
I added this just to increase the visibility of the question.

It is not a good idea to post the same question in different groups. You will get comments/answers in both groups and confuse people where to concentrate on a resolution.

You can always delete this question and post a link to your original question ...

You may well be right, but I don't see any straightforward way of deleting a question. Not to mention how to link it to a related group. My problem is that this question belongs to w2k, an operating system. I posted it on "operating system" and then I saw that there was a w2k topic area as well. Any suggestion on how to do that (delete and link), It is very welcome and I will be happy to pay this 50 points for it.
