ADAPTEC AAA-131U2 CI/O MANAGER W/ WINDOWS 2K??

It looks like the CI/O Manager software only works with NT and 95 for the AAA-131U2 card.  Any idea what I can use instead on Windows 2000?

This is the driver which I already have.  Doesn't the CI/O Management software provide an interface for managing the array?  Reconfiguring it?  Maybe sending out an email if there's a problem with it.  At the very least running a Windows 2K service that monitors the arrand logs an event if there's a problem?  This is the functionality I'm trying to setup...  

My main concern is this:  with just this driver, what would notify me that something was wrong with the raid array?

With the CI/O - Who developed the original software -the only reference I could find was ISA in Japan  - Any indication as to where the original software came from

Did you have SOFTWARE other than drivers that shipped with the card?  It sounds like you can use the software you already have as the device is being controlled by the new drivers.  Have you tried loading the old software with the new drivers?

The card came with two sets of disks.  The first is a set of 4 floppies with drivers for NT, Windows 2000, Windows 95, Linux, etc.  The second was a CI/O Management Driver CD for Windows NT & 95.  This same information is available for download from Adaptecs site for the AAA-131U2 card - but the CI/O software does not appear to be compatible with Windows 2000.  There is a driver for windows 2000, but the CI/O software does not appear to support it.  

I have another adaptec raid card which came with "Storage Manager Pro".  That installs the WIN2K service that monitors the array.  I assume that there is a similar function for this older card - but I don't know what software supports it.  That's what I'm trying to find out...
