Hooking internet explorer. (not MFC only Win32)

I'm using the
hHook=SetWindowsHookEx(WH_GETMESSAGE,hookProc,NULL,GetCurrentThreadId());
to catch text from a combobox in a web page.

When i use:
char str[500];
SendMessage(hWnd,CB_GETLBTEXT,(LPARAM)1,(WPARAM)str);
in the filter function i get nothing;

But if i use CB_GETCOUNT i get the number of items.

My qestion is can i use IID_IWebBrowserApp to do this ?
Or is it something i need to change ?

Regards
Andla

First i did not get any hits. I must be more carefull with copy and paste. Thanks for your help anyway. I hope i can find some source. Microsoft usually don't write win32 apps only MFC or big messed ATL examples. Could you stay put if i got stuck ?

Cheers
