Invalid Activex/com entries found by WinDoctor

I run Symantec SystemWorks 2001 on my Win 2000 Pro system (PC).The WinDoctor component of Systemworks checks the system for errors and prompts to repair them.

Several times every day it finds these errors:

"Invalid Activex/com entries found." There are always three of them, in the same locations everytime. I tell WinDoctor to repair them, but within an hour they're back.

They are just a nuisannce, nothing serious arises from them. But it would be nice to know how to resolve them once and for all instead of having to constantly "repair" them.

Any ideas?

Have you installed sp2, if not you may want to look at this. There is a long list of bugs it address an one of them is similar to your situation.

Yes, I am running SP2, with this problem occurring anyways.

Well I believe this is a problem with invalid regiitry entries which jbm4 could try using EasyCleaner to help facilitate removing invalid entries.
