FP 2000 & FP XP Server Extensions

My website is hosted by a local ISP and utilizes the Frontpage 2000 server extensions.

My question is, if I upgrade my personal computer to Office XP & Frontpage XP/2002, will I still be able to post changes to my site?

Good question!

You definitely won't be able to use some of the FP2k2 new features, anything that isn't already included in FP2k.  For those you will need the new SharePoint XP server extensions.

According to the Microsoft Site:

If my Web hosting company hasn't upgraded its server extensions, can I use FrontPage 2002 to update my site?

Yes. However, you will not be able to take advantage of some of the new functionality in FrontPage 2002.

Also, there still seem to be a significant number of glitches in FP2k2 that are making it difficult for users.  One user in this forum, Robinski, had a devil of a time with FP2k2 making strange changes to his code & not doing what FP2k did without any problem.
