Hi,

1)Is msmq 2 dependent on sql server for storing its information. Though it is using the Active Directory but still we found that Win 2K by default installs certain SQLSERVER files.

2)If a DataBase is must then can we use some other rather then SQLSERVER?

MSMQ v2 incorporates the system information, formerly stored in SQL server under version 1, as objects associated with the server running the service in Active Directory.
