Can we make this button function like combo box ?
This is because I want to control user to select item from the list only.

There is button property for colomn object . You have to make true then every row will have that button on particular column.
To make combo, Please take a listbox control , fill list box in form load time & make visible when you click button of column in button clik event of grid. Manipulate the position of listbox accordingly row position.

Thanks
