What ftp proxy can i use?

Hi,

You could try to set (uncomment) the tag 'ftp_passive on' in the /etc/squid/squid.conf file. Seems rather odd if the files download but don't decompress. Is this from a browser or from antivirus in-built client ?

You can use the SuSE's Proxy-Siute, as far as i know this program is working fine with any other distribution:
