howd go get access to msdos in windows me

i have looked at restart in ME but looks like microsoft have taken the option restart to in DOS mode. i have tried running a flash program in a window dos prompt but program requires real dos. Please help Cheers

yes the exit to dos option is no longer available. If you really cant do anything good with the windows dos prompt Try this

1. Get a diskette and copy all the system file by typing sys a:
2. Go to bios and change the boot sequence to a:
3. Boot from the diskeete and you will have the real dos mode.

By theway i am not sure if the F8 command is still available to bring up the boot menu. You can try that during bootup and press it and see if that anything happen.
