You want to capture the frequency values that are passed to the remote control unit to the receiver and how they are interpreted by the software?

Check out the downloads section at http://www.girder.nl.

There is an application (Girder) and plugin for it to work with Avermedia TV 98 Capture.

The plugin comes with C source which can be translated to Delphi.

Well, what you want is to use the Aver receiver win non-Aver remote.

This is different from using the receiver with it's native remote.

I don't know for sure if it is possible but if it is, it should be done using drivers for BTB8x8 based cards (BTB8x8 is the chip AverMedia card is based on).
