Hi

I have an application which uses the Microsoft DAO 3.51 object library for the creation and management of simple Access databases within VB 6.0

The Package and Deployment Wizard offers a number of 'drivers' to select as part of the installation. Should I choose:
Jet 2.x:Jet2.x
-or-
ODBC Direct

or any other ?

Cheers

Stu

Hello !

If you use DAO 3.51 (temporarily me too) you havent to add any of the suggested drivers. if dao351.dll/dao350.dll or dao360.dll is included it should work.

Great ! Thanks for that. I never considered that I might not need one off the list. Tested it on a virgin PC and it was fine.

Thanks mate
