the API function

Private Declare Function SetLocaleInfo Lib "kernel32" Alias "SetLocaleInfoA" (ByVal Locale As Long, ByVal LCType As Long, ByVal lpLCData As String) As Long

works fine on windows 98, 2000 but not on NT.

Does anybody know a similar function that works on NT?

Hi BrainStorm,

Here is a Example: Changing the System Long and Short Date Formats with SetLocaleInfo
http://www.mvps.org/vbnet/index.html?code/locale/setlocaleinfo.htm

that developed with VB6, Windows NT4 (Same Declaration).

Don't know if is help or not, regards.
