No RoundTripDelay response from CISCO VOIP Gateway

Hi,
  Is there anybody knows that why CISCO VOIP Gateway does not response to RoundTripDelay request? I am using Openphone to make a call to CISCO and I cannot see RoundTripDelay response upon request from Openhone.

How do you send a request for rtt?
Here is how to see it at the router(2 ways):
while a call is up, enter term mon and then
show voice call summary.  get the voice port number from this output, and enter show voice call x/y:z.a
where x/y:z.a is the voice port number from the previous outputs.  This will give you dsp delay and error stats.
The show call active voice command will also show rtt.
Both of these have to be done while the call is connected.

Hi crieman,
  I use Openphone to call to cisco gateway.  Openphone has the characteristic that sending RoundTripRequest intervally (in minute).  Then I use Ethereal as network monitor to look at the traffic.  I had never seen the cisco sending the RoundTripDelay Response from cisco, although in TCP level I already see the ACK flag has been set.

Please send output from show ver.
Also...turn on term mon and debug h245 events and debug h245 asn1.  Make one test call (you will get a ton of output).  Post the output here.

Please note that the software version is considered new (Compiled Sat 02-Jun-01 17:24), and upon RoundTripDelayRequest:

value MultimediaSystemControlMessage ::= request : roundTripDelayRequest :
    {
      sequenceNumber 1
    }


        H245ASNDecodePdu rc = 0, bytesLeftToDecode=0
        handleRemoteRequest: Msg Req Not supported(10)
        parseRemoteMsg: received Request PDU, rc=13


It indicates that this message request is not supported.

Sorry, I need to use the RoundTripRequest for keep alive purpose.  Actually, my intention of this question is just whether CISCO can support RoundTripDelay request, either I did not configure it properly, or I need to use a latest software, or CISCO does not take care it at all.

      It is configured properly, but it looks like it is not supported here.  Could you try loading IOS ver 12.2(5)XM4--make sure to get the IP/H323 feature set?

If this still does not work...open a case with TAC, if there is a bug, they will be able to get it fixed.
