I've seen _vit_cnf directories in ftonr page webs where there is a copy of the entire site. Is this a previous copy of files that will allow restoring of accidentally deleted files? If so how do I implement it with Visual Interdev 6.0?

_vti directories are used by the Frontpage Server Extensions.  I don't think there is anything there you could use for backup.

I just publish my ISP website back to a local web server for backups.
