I have a model SUP2780 modem, and in terminal mode (hyperterminal) it should respond to the following
AT #CID=1
which turns the caller Id capibility on but all I get when I enter any type of #CID command is an error? The modem is caller ID capable so what is wrong?

Have you tried 'AT&F' (Enter)
before entering 'AT#CID=1' (Enter) ???

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Modems -> Diagnostics -> (select) -> More Info

and tell us what the modem responds, as its identity.

Also, within HyperTerm, send 'ATI80' through 'ATI99',
separately, and tell us what non-ERROR responses are given.
