database drivers for SQL databases in Kylix for Linux

I am a delphi developer switching over to Linux and Kylix.
I could only afford The Desktop developer version.I was greatly disappointed to find there are no drivers for sql servers specially interbase and MySql.
Can some one guide me how to get any free drivers for these databases.Moreover unlike delphi there is no database desktop in Kylix.
Hence if some one can provide some free drivers for the databases i can learn kylix better.
Hence i am providing 200 points for the question

I thought they introduced DBExpress which already supports MySQL and Interbase.

Or is DBExpress only provided with Delphi6?

When ever i try to connect to interbase( it is running fine since i have tested it from the command line) it says that some so file is missing.I tried searching for the file.But i could not locate it in the hard disc.Hence i came to the conclusion that it is not available with the desk top.The Readme.txt file also says the same thing.
Kindly clarify if any one has connected to Interbase or MySql with kylix desktop

Thanks to you both , i did a little digging up and it connects to Interbase(version 5.56)(when i amended the dbexpressdvr and dbexpressconnection files)But when i loaded Interbase 6 it says connection refused by localhost
though the other settings are the same as interbase 5.6 version
I am not able to connect to MySql at all since the vendor driver file is missing.I think it has not been supplied by Borland.I dont know from where i can get it.The MySql database is running properly from command line
