Dear -,
I know that MAPI is a windows messaging sub-system. However I have an application, running on NT 4, that does not have access to any display, any attempt to display a dialog box from this application will jam the application up.
Is it possible to use MAPI in this application?
Do I have to drive the SMTP port (25) directly, if so how?
Yours

>>that does not have access to any display

Why don't you try to set 'MAPI_NT_SERVICE' when calling 'MAPIInitialize()'?
