Hi,

I'm trying to make some sort of jukebox in Director (8.5). I have 10 MP3 files linked (using import). With a puppetSound I call the correct one. In Director itself, everything works, but when I export it to a Shockwave file it doesn't anymore. Whan am I doing wrong? Should I load those MP3 files first with some sort of command?

Tnx,
Bram

Your problem is that when you playback mp3's from Director in Shockwave you need to use a process more akin to playing digital video than wav files.  It's not quite the same.

Try using the "play member" command instead of puppetSound.

There's a lot of documentation in the Director help under:

MP3 audio:controlling with Lingo

If you can't get it to work let me know and I'll be more specific.
