What is the fix for the error message "mmc.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows."
 This was generated from SQL Server 7.0.

I am guessing, but if you are running Windows 2K apply SP1 or SP2 I seem to remember a Q article on this.

The original SQL Server 7.0 mmc snap-in is highly unstable. An upgrade to SP1 should make it slightly better, but at least SP2 and preferably SP3 is recommended.
