Java $class using ChangListener

I hava an applet that uses JColorChooser and ChangeListener. The ChangeListener is creating a $class
file. Is there a way Not to create the $class file.
I can't upload the $ to my web site because of naming
restrictions.

Sounds like you are using inner classes. Make the inner class a top level class.
