WindowsXP RC2 testing

I am testing windowsXP RC2 Professional

I found that in Home Edition, user can select his/her user icon to logon. But in Professional version, it same as previous win2000 or NT version that need user to press crtl-alt-del to logon

My question is does the logon screen of WindowsXP professional same as home edition ?

No.  The logon screens are different.  You should see the CTRL-ALT_DEL on Pro but not on Home Edition.

You can force Pro to assume that you are a particular user and not prompt at all.  From a performance standpoint, they are pretty much the same OS.
