I'm looking for an MFD. So far I like the Lexmark X83 and the HP PSC 750. Which is a better machine and which will work with Linux? Do you have any other ideas?

It depends on what you are doing with it. They come in two basic flavors... inkjet and laser. If this is for a business, I would recommend a laser printer model. For home use, an inkjet model would probably be sufficient.

Hmm, if I am serious with linux, I wouldn't play with multipurpose printer.

I need a scanner, printer, and copier, and this is the cheapest way to go. It looks like it is well supported as well. I'll go with invididual devices if you can tell me where to buy a printer, scanner, and copier that fit in a 2'x2'x2' space.
