I was struggling with with question, I was wondering if anyone could help me out...
A loan officer at a bank needs a program to determine whether a loan applicant qualifies for various kind of loans: automobile loans, home improvement loans, home mortgages, and so on. The criteria for eligibility must be established for each kind of loan; for example, eligibility for a home mortgage might require that the applicant have a down payment that is at least 20 percent of the purchase price of the home, must have been employed at least five years, must have an annual income that is at least 40 percent of the purchase price, and other credit obligations must not exceed 20 percent of the applicant?s annual income.

A)Develop a specification of the problem, including establishing criteria for the various kinds of loans. For this you might obtain the information from a locan band and other sources.
B)Develop a top-down dessign plan for a program for this loan eligibiltiy problem
C)Code and test the subprograms and the complete program that implements the design plan.

EE is not intended for having other people doing your homework. Sorry, pal, try it yourself.

If you have a specific problem while trying, we will be glad to help you out, given that you visibly have put some effort in solving it yourself first.

looks like it to me,

we cant help with homework ,its against e.e guidelines ,we can only offer advice for specific wuestions.

i would suggets you first visit some banks and get some actual criteria's then its just a case of maths and a few  case statements.

ps,

>>must have an annual income that is at least
40 percent of the purchase price

if only ;-)

hi all,

it doesn't look like student's homework. It should be something other. May be it's a real project? At least it looks like graduation work. Of coz this work cannot be done for points. But may be Juice1160 going to propose something else?

Juice1160,

This is homework, or a school project of some description. Experts-Exchange does not allow questions like this.

I will clarify. What is wrong with this question is that you have posted your assignment, and you are asking our experts to do the work for you. That is not acceptable.

What we will accept is if you do the work yourself, and you get stuck on some detail. Then, by all means, ask our experts to help you out with that.

I have refunded your points. Avonwyss had it spot on, so he gets the "A" for his trouble.

Regards

modder
