Changing the <select> scrollbar

Is it possible to change the color of the scrollbar and dropdown arrow in the select tage. "Scrollbar" style information applies to the select tage don't seem to work. Is there a way of coding this with CSS.

None of the browsers support for select lists - yet.

The only browser that supports any scrollbar formatting is IE5.5.
