I am thinking of moving my site from my ISPs server (homepages.enterprise.net/dan) to a domain (dankarran.com) with the exception of a file (eg myfile.shtml) and a directory (cgi-bin)

Everything else I would like to be redirected to my new address. The code I am starting with is:

RedirectMatch /dan/(.*) http://www.dankarran.com/$1

But how do I exclude from that, the file and directory named above?

Cheers...

AFAIK, can only be done by using Apache's ScriptAlias and Alias functionality
