Boot Sequence on Gateway

When I boot my Gateway it goes directly to Win98.  How can I chage this so it will show my system setup or configuration (Pentium ?, amount of memory, sound devices, cd roms, etc.) I am talking about how it would boot if Gateways software was not installed.

In the bios there should be a switch to turn the gateway splash screen off

Steven is right, look for something named similar to "diagnostic boot" and enable it.
