JNDI is supported in Java 1.2 and higher!
 What is the backwards compatibility to 1.1?
How can i achieve the JNDI functionalities in 1.2 prior versions.
Is there any way ?

Try to download jndi1.2.jar from somewhere and use it instead of rt.jar in JDK 1.3

21 questions remain open today, some date back to the year 2000.  I will close those I can today, and
