hello all,
i need your help in this one:

1. i am working on an installation program using installshield professional 6.3, everything is working fine there, except for only one point, restarting.

2. what i mean by that is this, i need to reboot the system, and after the system comes back up again, i want to run something.

3. what i did is to insert that "thing" in the OnRebooted function, which was described by the help as "it responds to the Rebooted event that the setup generates after the target system is rebooted. when the setup restarts after reboot, OnRebooted is the ....".

4. now, my question is, how do i restart setup after reboot?

thanks,
samir

Hmm I believe that Sheild should set that for you. I don't have professional however I use express and I think all you have to do is find the setting in Shield and tell to restart after a reboot. I believe it should be logging a value in this registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runonce

or this one

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
