I need to get a hold of the original software for the Creative Live 5.1 Platinum. I have been around the computer fairs and bought the bits to make it up. I bought the card (SB060) and it came witht he 5.1 player disc. Couple of weeks later I bought the Creative Live Drive Bay (IR) I now need the software to enable the IR.

Creative only have the upgrade on their website, this will not install without the original software.

Does anybody have this software?

This Release is for the Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Cards only! (Model SB0060)

This release also includes the following Creative Audio software suite (English only):

Sounds like you can get it from this site. Especially since it is specific to your model.  Anyway this came from, http://www.soundblaster.com/support/drivers/welcome.asp?reg=0&OS=Win98&prod=live5.1&Select=Get+Files&x=72&y=12

Nope, these are drivers. I have them.

However it is the remote centre that is most specific that I need.

Have you checked with any local PC shops?  They might be able to help.
