Hi,

How can I open to edit an ICO file, and then save it as ICO file?

I tried FireWorks, but it didn't support it.

Thanks,

Merav

there are various inexpensive programs available that will allow you to create, edit and maintain icons and .ico files. microangelo, for instance, which can be found at www.impactsoft.com/.

nope but they're handy for creating icons and saving as gifs or bmps and bringing them into your icon editor for further work.

just to confirm, you could go into each of your graphics programs and either try to open an .ico file or save something as an .ico file.

there are quite a few inexpensive shareware icon editors --with trial periods. here are a few:
<"a href="http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=icon+editors" target="_blank"><b>google "icon editors" search result"</b></a>

subsequent to my previous reply, i found a posting on the same subject which states that it's also possible to use ms visual basic. do you have that?
