Well here's the scoop.
I use a form created in frontpage that send the data to a 2nd page and then people view that list. I'd like to add a counter for all the entries.

Tell me if you need to see the code, I'll post it

Thanks!

Do you want to count the number of entries or the number of times the page has been accessed?

If it is the number of entries, you will just need to add a number field to your database and have the page display that.

If you need a counter on the page, there are dozens to choose from:

www.thecounter.com
www.fastcounter.com
www.fxweb.com

just to name a few.

Right....so you are probably going to do it server side.  If I were you I'd wait until you see what the experts suggest as a solution for that question and build this into it.

You aren't going to want two separate db's....that is just silly.  All you are going to do is add a number field to the database and use it to count then call that field to the page.

It really isn't a separate question.

Ok here's the story... I'll keep posting the data to the same form that I used originally. Is there a way of adding a counter of all the entries on the page...

I'm kind of stumped here.  I was thinking a javascript again, but you are using a web bot....hard to insert anything in there.

This is one of the problems with not doing it with a db.  Didn't you say somewhere along the line that you could use ASP?
