Macintosh internet setup on Windows Nt network

I am a frustrated teacher with a technology director that insists that everyone with a Mac must run Windows in order to use the internet on the NT network.   I know that Macs can connect directly to a NT network and go online through the network just like all the Pcs.  Where can I find out information on how to set up the server so Macs can go directly online without running Windows.?

First get one of those accordion mallets that make squeaky noises and give your "technology director" a hefty bonk on the head. Then check out www.macwindows.com which is an immense resource on how to make such systems work. And lastly, dont give up. Dont let that windows centric "technology director" push you around.

Gonna go ahead and nail this one down. Macwindows.com has everything you need.

I purchased the book Mac/Windows cross platfrom authored by the gentleman that runs the webpage.  Most of the book covers complex cross platform objectives. I just want to get on the internet.  One thing the book seems to say is that I do not need services for macintosh installed if I only want to get on the internet. SFM seems to be necessary if you want to print and share documents on the network.  The book and the web page are very helpful but now I need specifics from someone that has done this and is familiar with windows nt.
  Thanks
