Convert .mix files to .jpg
I have several files with a .mix file format that I need to convert to .jpg. I don't have Microsoft's PhotoDraw or PictureIt, these programs generate .mix files by default and would have allowed me to convert the files to other formats.
Can anybody suggest something or point me to a website that will allow me to do what I want to do?

I've just tried the above suggestion and unfortunately when I try to insert the picture into a Word document I get an error saying "An error occurred while importing this file".

Any update ?
Hi,
I've checked the link above, but the trial version is no longer out there. I am working on a MAC, and I have these .MIX files that I can't do a darn thing with. I do have access to a PC as well, and have taken a bunch of different suggestions as far as what to do about this issue, but I haven't had any success. Is there ANYBODY out there who has this software that wouldn't mind converting the photos for me, and then sending them back to me? I would consider this a HUGE favor, and something that I know would only take me a few minutes if I had the software.
Thanks in advance if anyone is able to assist.
Regards,
MMP

Paste the MIX image into a WORD document (use INSERT / PICTURE / FROM FILE & select teh MIX option at the bottom), right click it and select COPY, then just paste it into whatever graphics package you use.
Save that in JPG format, and that should work (although there must be a more elegant method out there somewhere!)
