Occasionally I get an email that has been forwarded that has a graphic attached that is in ASCII character format.

Is there a way to display the graphic from the ASCII code?

I am using Outlook Express 6.0.

Generally ascii characters can be displayed in notepad.

Thanks for your response.

I don't need to display the ascii characters. I would like to be able to convert an ascii file that represents a graphic to the actual graphic (gif, jpg, etc.).

I looked at the programs at http://www.filelibrary.com/Contents/DOS/101/ but didn't see any that indicated they do this.

Perhaps you need a mime decoder - seems strange that OE 6 will not decode it though -
can you place a sample here from one of the attachments?

I have Winzip 8, which was listed in the link you provided. The file was an MME file which I figured out how to translate using WINZIP.

Thanks much for the help.
